Two independently driven wheels give VISITOR LX-1 differential steering, driven through a dedicated motor controller.
A time-of-flight distance sensor lets VISITOR LX-1 see obstacles ahead of it and drive around them.
Development and control happen over Wi-Fi, so the robot works without a keyboard or monitor attached.
