How we publish

The BOM

Every board, sensor, cable and screw, down to the inserts, with the exact parts the design was fit-checked around.

The CAD

Print-ready STLs in their print orientation and the full Blender source, with every electronic part modelled at real size.

The code

The software or firmware that runs the robot, readable from the first line, ready to fork and make your own.

Three of them are free downloads. VISITOR LX-1 is a complete kit, with its software open source, and AELX-2 is our flagship robot powered by Lumalien Cloud.

AELX-2 and Lumalien Cloud

AELX-2 is our AI desktop robot: expressive animated eyes, natural voice conversation and a motorized head. It is the one Lumalien robot that is not open source, because Lumalien Cloud, the platform that gives it its voice, its memory and its owner's dashboard, is being built around it.

Activation

Type the code from your robot's eyes and it is linked to your account. One code, one robot, one owner.

Conversation credits

Talk time is prepaid. Starter conversation credits are included, and you can see your balance and add more to your account whenever you like.

Memory

The short profile that lets AELX-2 remember you lives in the cloud, so the robot itself stores nothing about you.
